H. Norman Nicklas was at Trappe for about 3 years. He was a pleasant man and was married and had a young son, Joey. Mr. Nicklas was Chaplain of the fire company, as were most of our ministers and was a familiar face in the community. I remember little more about him other than that he preached my father's funeral.
